One of our big goals this year is to become a non-profit. This opens up a lot of doors for the club and allows us to offer everyone some extra benefits as well as enables us to have more clout with parks, organizations, etc. In order to do this, we’ve had to develop a set of legally-binding bylaws. The MGS has had bylaws but up until now they’ve not been a legally binding document and we’re asking for your help in reviewing the proposed bylaws.
At the March Meet & Greet on 3/13, we will have a vote by the membership to hopefully approve the bylaws so we can submit them and begin the process of becoming a non-profit.
You can find the bylaws, in the current and proposed form on the left side of the page in the MGS LIBRARY section. Both are available in Word and TXT format.
