There’s still work to be done, but we’re finally here!
Last year I tried to update the site with a more secure version to help protect the site from vulnerabilities in the software. It didn’t go well and did more harm than good (there’s a lot of little things that need to go right, and they didn’t). A few days ago we got hit by someone who caused our site to spike the server load, and we got shut down. Twice.
Knowing how well the upgrade didn’t go last time, I started looking into other ways to host the MGS site and forums. So here we are. I’m not completely done, I hope to integrate the forums and photo gallery a little better over the next couple of weeks, but after 2 full days of working on this to preserve the user-base as well as all of the thousands of threads and posts in the forums, I’m happy with where we are right now to take a break 
Until the forums have a permanent link on the top of this site, you can find them here. They’ll look different, but everything should be there. Please use your previous username and password.
