Antietam Adventure Lab Cache

Antietam Adventure Lab Cache

We wanted to remind you that the Lab Cache Adventure from CAM 2016 is still active. One of our esteemed former officers and current Director, deepdish23, has been working to make sure the Antietam Adventure will be available for at least the foreseeable future. So if you didn’t get a chance to complete it after the 2016 picnic or you are new to caching, be sure to check this cache out. Imagine, your own Lab Cache practically right in your backyard! This Lab Cache is one of only 6 adventures worldwide, one of four in the US and the only non Mega Event Lab Cache not in Seattle, Washington, home of Groundspeak HQ. Also, stay tuned, deepdish23 is working with NPS to possibly hold an event around this cache in the Fall. In the meantime, you can head out to Antietam and relive a little of the glory of CAM 2016 while you wait for the CAM 2018 Kick-off!

P.S. Thanks to the following who had a role in bringing this idea to the geocaching community:
Hixon, Calvertcachers, deepdish23, Bryan Roth, Phil Brommal, HoneyBadger34, Adric, tazscouter, lpyankeefan, and GR8Caches

The votes have been cast and counted. Some categories were very close, some were tied(!) and some were a blowout! I am sure you are all dying to know who writes the best logs, takes the best photographs and who has the most scenic hide. Well to find out, you need to come to the live reveal at 2018 MGS Meet The Officers! See you there!
