Just posting this here as an FYI to hopefully save some folks some frustration of trying to figure out why your maps are not working in GSAK. By maps I mean preview map, Get Geocaches Map, etc.
Apparently new Google Maps polices/prices on API use much like what hit geocaching.com a couples years back, I think.

As an update to save some reading through forum threads. Unless you make the changes referenced in the below post in the GSAK forums, all GSAK users use the same shared API key which is limited to 25,000 map loads a day for the entire community. If you are an infrequent user of GSAK it probably won't matter but if you use it frequently you are likely to encounter the map load error at some point. To solve this, you can get your own free API key from Google and enter it into GSAK. Read the instructions here: http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=31473
