Yes this is an unabashed promotion of GSAK 8.
This morning I used GSAK 8's "Publish logs" feature with GREAT results.......
641 caches logged in about 21.5 minutes. That averages to over 29 caches logged per minute!
When I say logged.....I mean that GSAK did ALL the work once I clicked the Publish button. I was free to walk away from the computer.

Re: GSAK 8 Logging feature
I did the same when I logged the Delaware Canal series. (although that was 180 verses 641)
There is an additional macro that can be used if people have a coin they wanted dipped in every cache they visit, since the Publish Logs doesn't currently do that.
A very nice feature!!

Whats the macro that lets the coin be dipped into every cache?

I look forward to the thousand emails generated from that TB macro to CO's.....

Hmm, good point, I wonder if it does that or not... I ought to get a geocoin and run it through my own caches to see if it registers or not._JohnnyCache wrote:I look forward to the thousand emails generated from that TB macro to CO's.....

Re: GSAK 8 Logging feature
Was speaking to MD8Baller about this very feature during a cache run earlier this week. While I haven't done any more than fifty caches in one day this year I do have plans to do some of the surrounding powertrails in the upcoming year.
Looks like I might have to buy the upgrade and go to GSAK 8 soon.

Re: GSAK 8 Logging feature
Even without the logging feature the upgrade to 8 was worth it. The live api integration really changes the way you can use it. I still run PQs for the states around the area to keep the load on their servers lower (as I like to have more than 5 logs when hunting) but now just before making a run to an area I can just select the ones in the area and run the update cache on those caches and it will bring them all up to date for status and cache details and pulls the last 30 logs so I will know if something has been amiss recently.
