Maryland Geocaching Society

Danny (GR8Caches) and I will continue our assault on Maryland's oldest Multis on Saturday February 11th and 8am. We will be going for GCG2DZ Milling Around in the Garden of Eden and GC12F9 Hoffman's Rock Scramble. We will be meeting at the parking lot of Eden Mill, N 39 °40.517 W 076 °27.162, gather the information for Stage 1, and then head to Stage 2 parking N39.40.650 W076.27.312 and grab the multi and any other caches along the way. After finishing at Eden Mill, we will head to parking at either N 39° 41.486 W 076° 46.990 or N 39° 41.408 W 076° 46.881 for Hoffman's Rock Scramble.
Since Hoffman's Rock Scramble is very dangerous in wintry conditions, we will be checking the weather closely as the 10th approaches.
If you would like to join us, just post a note here so we have an idea of who's coming. Also, parking is limited at Hoffman's Rock Scramble so some carpooling is recommended.

Anytime I cache in MD I seem to go through Frederick. Just like last trip anyone interested in Car Pooling I will be happy to stop in Fred. at the Park n Ride Exit 56 on I70 at 6:20AM. It is about a 1.5 hr drive from there. Afterwards my plan might include getting the Ivy Hill Cache another top 5 traditional and Riddle Me This a top 5 unknown. Those are nearer the Baltimore Beltway for reference. That would bring me down to needing just 6 more of the top 5. Of course there is always just one more to get....

If I'm free, count me in. I'll let you know for sure after I check with Mrs. Georick.

I am up for that. I will probably tag along with Danny for the bonus additions closer to Baltimore as well. I will be leaving from the Columbia if anybody wants a ride. The dog will probably come too after I look and make sure it is ok for her.

I plan to be there with georick pending the weather lets us! I have 4x4 so that shouldn't be an issue.

I will be tagging along with Bisquick. We will probably be the "Pokey Patrol" again!

Eden Mill is in my backyard, yet I have never grabbed it. Would like to join if I am able. I have an all day 'pass' on the 18th, not sure I can get one this Saturday.

I wasn't able to join the fun on the first sortie. Looking forward to making up for that on this jaunt. See y'all at the rally point!
