Fortunately it seems episodes are also on-line, as I may have to miss the original airing. http://video.mpt.tv/program/outdoors-maryland/

But have to ask... what is an Upban Oasis? :)

That reminds me, I forgot to ask. Does anyone know if the show is closed captioned? Sometimes the more "local" shows aren't.

I just checked with the producer and he said "yes, they certainly are closed captioned!"

Wow, do I need to request time off on Wednesday??

And thanks for checking their captioned status. PBS is good in most areas, but some areas... eh, and I don't know the MD/Balt market yet.

Hmmm, too far away for my notification list, and pretty far in general. I was thinking since the show title had Patapsco, it'd be in that area. So much for me assuming again. ;-)

It's a bit tough to see but a semi-colon separates the three different subjects to be covered in that segment.

Wow, very nice. Hopefully I'll be able to swing by there some day. And I'm still hoping to watch tonight, although the timing is dicey. If not, I'll get it on the internet when it's out. Will they be selling those coins? Or prizes only?

There are no current plans to sell the coins as there are a very limited number available.

GC is down right now, so it's hard to see how many people have visited the cache. Rodney stopped by on his lunch break and was the 13th person to add a name to the log. On his way back down the trail he ran into number 14 - and that was an hour ago.

My girls watched with me, and wanted more!! Very good spotlight! But it looks like the trackable in that episode is missing in action, if I wrote the number right. Also looks like those Outdoors MD coins are going to go fast with all the people hitting the cache already. :-)

Very nice! Very well done and thanks to you all for the cool segment. As a self proclaimed coin madman, I'm bummed a little. Congrats to the finders and the coin getters! I was out in Frederick today. Wish I'd looked sooner. :brick:
