Listings below with forms require that you seek permission prior to placing the cache. Areas without forms have no such requirement. ALL STATE PARKS require permission ahead of time, however county parks vary.If you're unsure about how to do request permission or would like assistance please check with our Public Relations folks and we'll gladly assist you. According to the policy:
The Department will appoint a Geocache Administrator (Dawn Poholsky) who will act as the primary point of contact for the public on all geocaching matters in Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks managed properties, including parks and facilities. The Geocache Administrator as well as Park and Facility Managers will handle approvals for new cache placement. However, the Park or Facility Manager will contact cache owners regarding their cache when necessary, and disseminate information to and from park and site managers, as well as maintain a master list of all current physical caches on HCRP properties within their zone.
