Made a mistake on the name of the park. If you look on google, it is called the City of Frostburg Park.

The geocaching listing for the Fall Picnic should be published this week. Here are some more updates on accommodations for the fall picnic.
The picnic will take place at the City of Frostburg Park on Saturday October 10th at 10am. A full schedule will be published a little later, but a few events already planned are:
Cornhole tournament
Giving away of the MGS 2015 raffle item - Create you own pathtag - (If you purchased tickets at previous events, you do not have to be present at the fall picnic to win.
New geocaches in the area
There is plan for at least one Friday evening dinner event and a Sunday morning breakfast send off event.

Pets will be allowed at the picnic, but they will need to be on a leash.

There will be 20 tent camping spots that will be opened up to the MGS. They will be reserved by replying to the tent camping threads that I will be posting today. It will be first replied, first reserve for the camping spots.
Campers and RV will be allowed in the parking area, but there is no electric hookup.
The pool bath house will be opened for the MGS that weekend.
For those who are looking for hotel options, the Ramada Inn in Cumberland has blocked 20 rooms for the MGS that weekend. Please contact the Ramada Inn in Cumberland and let them know you are with the Maryland Geocaching Society and are looking for the discount. Their $115 rooms will be available for $99 a night. This deal will end one month before the picnic on September 10th.
As the fall picnic gets closer, more information will be posted.

Trying to look up the camping pricing information for the Frostburg park - Their recreation site is a bit confusing. Do these coordinates look about right for the park the picnic is at?

39°39'23.3"N 78°56'23.1"W

Also, we are planning on setting up fri - are the campsites reserved under MGS or another identifier?

Thanks!

Here is the information you need if you are planning on camping this weekend. Camping will be at the Frostburg Park where the Fall Picnic is being held. It is first come first served as far as picking your spot. Camping is free at the park. You will be setting up your tent in the area surrounding the picnic/pavilion area. There will be a soccer practice on the soccer field that will be wrapping up around 6:30 on Friday with no further sports in the park the rest of the weekend. The Park Supervisor said there is enough for 20 tents or so before we would get anywhere near the soccer field, so we are good as far as you can set up your tent when you arrive on Friday.
The bath house will be open this weekend.
You are allowed to camp all weekend at the park and can leave at any time on Sunday. They are allowing campers to spend the weekend at the park also.
Pets are allowed.
If you have an issue with the camping please let Charlie, Bethany, or myself know as we have the contact information for the Park Supervisor. Bethany will be at the park camping.
