Maryland Geocaching Society

The 2017 MGS CITO & Picnic event will be held in the McKeldin Area of Patapsco Valley State Park on Saturday, September 23rd from 10am–1pm. (CITO from 10–Noon, picnic from Noon–1.) Please post in this thread which food items you plan to bring to the potluck picnic. There will be no grills at the CITO, so please bring non-grillable foods. We'll keep updating the food list as your posts are received.

Its strange that there are NO replies yet. I checked three times just to make sure I am posting in the right place.

Zoop Cacher and I will bring Watergate salad as a dessert. And if no one brings anything else, I guess it can also be an appetizer, snack, and entrée.

We'll bring some Gatorade and ice

I'll bring some sort of green salad.

I'll bring a stack of paper plates, and, if necessary, napkins as well.

I can bring a tray of veggies and dip.


Also, there's a new pizza place down the Marriottsville Road that's fairly good. Anybody want to chip in for some pizzas?

I'll bring potato salad and some chips.

Ill bring desert of some kind. Probably chocolate chip cookies.

We'll be bringing a couple boxes of fried chicken.

MD Crab will bring a veggie tray

MD Crab will look at list on Friday evening - if too many veggies, we can switch to fruit tray.

I will bring watermelon

Will bring Chips and maybe some kind of fruit punch drink

I am going to look back here tonight, figure out what is missing, and likely change what I am bringing to something more substantive. I’ll let you know.

I'll bring all of the paper products needed (paper plates, utensils, cups, & napkins) and a bag of ice.

We are changing what we are bringing! We are bringing small chicken sandwich wraps, roast beef sandwiches, Italian sandwiches, and pasta salad.

Ok who took my fruit punch and chips from shelter came back from getting cache and they were gone

Thank you Adric for hosting this event along with the park service people. Plenty of food, plenty of companionship, and plenty of fun. I look forward to the fall activity.
