"Posting your RSVP online automatically enters you in a drawing for a door prize of one free Bear Creek meal."

That's just a taste, pardon the pun, of what we have planed
Here is a general list of the caches we're placeing, not including the games.

1. Stuck on you – Sticker Theme / by Sweetypie
2. The Gnome’s Torch – Micro / by Simulatmore
3. Where the wild things are – Animal Theme / by Rockhead97
4. Where have you been? - Postcard Theme / by Hairtodo
5. Attention to detail - multi / by Simulatmore
6. Cache in hand – Micro / by Simulatmore
7. Patrick Star’s tackle box – Mini / by Shiraz-Mataz
8. Strike up the Band – Music Theme / by Shiraz-Mataz
9. Candlestick Park – Candle Theme Multi / by Shiraz-Mataz

Not to mention the 5 caches that are already in the park.
Now are you getting excited.
By boat, bike, or on foot anyway you look at it there's going to be plenty to do.

Ahhh... and let us not forget, there is one more VERY special cache. On the day of the event only, there will be a "CASH and Dash". All who enter this contest will pay a nominal fee (a couple bucks) and will receive a sheet containing one clue toward solving a clever little multi. The first person who finds the final cache location and returns with the contents will win all the cash collected for the contest!

Yee HAA!!! :smt033

Looking forward

Looking forward to the big event. I'm sure the weather will be warmer. Not sure if the clouds will stay away though. Looks like I should make it out and find the 2 caches I have left in the park so they don't distract me from all the new ones. I should have at least two new caches placed nearby before the event too, in case anyone arrives early or stays late. Hope to see you all here. Be safe on the drive down.

Well Word Math is up. I couldn't figure out a better title. Be sure to find Word Math part 2 also. I've figured out a couple more Scrabble Scrambles just not sure how I will present them. I am definitely into the hide but love to find them too. Word Math is relatively close to the event. Maybe you guys could find it just before the meeting. I'm trying to keep the puzzles workable to people who come down on day trips. I hate it when I drive somewhere for a puzzle and find I need to take it home to figure it out.
I am also working on two other ideas that may befuddle some. The hard part is figuring out the best area to hide them.

woodysix8:

I saw those were ready! Definitely going to need to set aside another day trip to do (finish) Scrabble Scramble as well as your Word Math cache(s). Won't have time before the event since we'll be having a Core meeting beforehand but will definitely make that a trip to do soon.

Thanks for the effort!

Woody has the touch on puzzle caches

Woody is getting an excellent and well deserved reputation on puzzle caches. They are just darn fun to do. We are glad to see others in the area becoming active and talented hiders. Lots to find soon. We probably will not go finding at the event. I want to hang around and meet people and answer questions and all. I am very excited about the event but also temper that with my excitement for the birth of the baby too. Who knows there is a chance they may coincide. 8O

We can just birth the baby at the event if you need to.

Just as long as it's not me. :silenced:

Yes, he's scared enough.

We'll be ready for a good hike that day.... I am training and running 9-12 miles a week in the gym, hahaha! Actually that's training for a 5K, but hey, its all for good health, huh? The lake (like everyone knows) is definitely a little rough to get around. I wonder if they have continued construction of the bridges since we were last there? There were some really marshy areas to navigate last fall. Too bad I have no boat, it would make life a little easier, but the hike will be great exercise! We're really looking forward to having a lot of fun!!
