A must stop is the Gas Station.

Any CAM caches from 2004, 2005, or 2008. Those are the years we did not participate in CAM.

Wait...I think you're doing it wrong. That's Delaware....don't think DE is along a Caches across MARYLAND route

I don't think 100% of the original CAMs are there, but many still exist. I don't know if each year is listed in the title (though it seems logical they would be).

There are indeed still active caches for each year. The CAM history index thread has a link to bookmark lists for each.

You can find the still active caches by searching geocaching.com with the cachename of "CAM year". I've just done that for years 2004 forward. Something in geocaching.com's search doesn't like "CAM 2", it falls apart before 2007 or thereabouts.

Inevitably the fastest route goes thru DE. Of course actually getting to Rehoboth Beach is a bit of a side trip, or possibly a slower road route, depending on where the CAM caches are exactly.

There's nothing wrong with going through another state on CAM. I remember a couple years ago when we had to park in WVa and do most of the hiking in WVa to get to one in MD. One of my favorites.

For the cachers who are Sonic fans, there is a new Sonic on the CAM trail this year. 1710 Dual Hwy (US 40), Hagerstown, MD 21740. A short distance off I-70, and not far from the I-70/I-81 Jct. FYI.

We will certainly be stopping at Thrasher's in Ocean City for a bucket of French fries, a bottle of vinegar and a can of salt!!!!

yummmmeeee! we get lunch there about once a week. i love that place. i am so glad a good food joint has been able to stay at that location for the length of time that durham's has.

When we did MML last January, we stopped at Sabor de Cuba in Frederick, MD. Their Pargo Frito is amazing!! We will be stopping there on our way back from western Maryland this Saturday.

Ummm, that .gif of the pig on a spit that someone else posted.. (http://www.randysribs.com) I have to go there sometime!!! It has been two years since I had lechon. Pig skin is the best! I'm not sure if we can go there during our southern Maryland CAM run as I'm sure one of the cachers in our crew won't enjoy smelling roasted pig in the car all day, haha.

When we hit eastern Maryland, I expect to get some raw oysters or a crab feast. We usually just wing it and pick a random local joint. We seem to pick the right places! I wrote down five places from this list that we may possibly visit for some noms. Thanks for this list/thread!

There is this really nice place in Cecilton really close to the MML. It's called Cecilton Pizzarire. They have really good food there. Their subs were huge.
