Has anyone had their avatar on geocaching.com suddenly disappear? Mine did today. When a friend was looking to see if I logged a certain cache, he didn't see me because he didn't see may avatar. I looked at the cache listing, and others as well, and my avatar was gone. I didn't have the original file, so I just created a new one, but it's a tad fuzzier than the one I had. I'll have to try another tool to create it. I'm just trying to figure out what might have happened. I haven't made any changes to anything in my profile for quite a while.

Looks like I found the answer to my own problem. Image issues on GC.com. Other images may have disappeared. You might want to check your own avatars. http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index. ... try5329426

Just checked and either it was something temporary or didn't effect everyone. Mine was still there.

It didn't affect everyone or every image loaded. If you go looking through pictures in cache logs, you'll see some of them show images won't load. It seems to be randomly scattered. For example, if you look at my log for PUC #8 (http://coord.info/GCT66Z, 30 June), the second to last picture won't load.
