For our second February Member Spotlight, we wanted to interview a member who has dedicated many hours of service to the MGS and has been instrumental in raising the positive awareness of geocaching and the Maryland Geocaching Society within the community. A well respected geocacher, and someone who is always willing to lend a hand or simply answer a question.  If you have not already had the pleasure, then allow me to introduce, Mr. Dwight Wingert and his lovely wife BJ, better known in geocaching circles as BJ&Snurt101.  Click into the forum to read more. All Hail Snurt!

OK, the CAM planning is coming along. The core has been notified that the CAM picnic will be held on May 2nd, Rain or Shine.
2009 CAM guidelines and cache page are forthcoming. Please be on the lookout. We’re doing our best to cure that CAM fever. Be sure to read the new guidelines as some changes will be made from past years.
I am pleased to present That70sCouple in our February 2009 Member Spotlight. Eric and Donna began caching a little over a month ago and have blazed the MML Geotrail. They were the first cachers in St. Mary’s County to complete the geotrail and earn a coin! Click into the forum to read about their great start to geocaching.
It is with pleasure to introduce Jpatton and JohnnyCache in our January 2009 Member Spotlight. JPatton is a Charter member of Geocaching.com and former president of the MGS. JohnnyCache is an IT expert who often assist members in our TechTalk forum and he recently created a great Wherigo cache for the Masonic event in Washington, D.C.
