GPS Adventures Maze Exhibit Comes to Maryland

As you walk through woods with your GPS in hand, have you ever wondered about the technology – its history, current uses and future possibilities?  Visitors to the GPS Adventures Maze Exhibit opening this weekend at the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore will have the opportunity to learn that and much more.

The GPS Adventures Maze is a traveling educational exhibit that was developed to teach people of all ages about navigation, GPS technology, and geocaching.  It simulates geocaching by leading visitors through a 2500 sq.ft. maze filled with interactive science experiences.  It is a unique caching experience with it’s own unique icon.

We invite everyone to join us at the Maryland Science Center on Saturday, February 20, 2010 10am – 1 pm for the GPS Adventures Maze Exhibit opening event.  Be among the first to see the exhibition and meet members of Groundspeak, Trimble Navigation, and exhibit creator Minotaur Mazes.

MGS "Meet the Officers" Meet & Greet

Come out and join us for the Maryland Geocaching Society 2010 “Meet the Officers” Meet & Greet.  This is a great opportunity for folks to get together, share and exchange ideas, and talk about the upcoming year.  We would like to invite everyone who has an interest in the game of geocaching to come and join in. You do not have to be a member of the MGS to attend.  No matter if you have 10 or 10,000 finds, everyone is welcome! New to the game?  New to the area?  Visiting from out of town?  Feel free to join us!

It is that time of year to begin the selection process for our Core Officers for 2010.  If you would like to run, please feel free to nominate yourself in the forum thread.  Be sure to include what position you would like to run for!  If you would like to nominate someone else, please get their permission first, as they may not be willing to do so.
