CAM Kick-Off events across the state were well attended and excitement was in the air.  I hope everybody is enjoying themselves so far.  There were some hickups including a reception attended by the Govenor,  lots and lots of muggles, and a wet parking lot but miles were driven, geocaches were found and fun was had.  Keep at it because the picnic is right around the corner!  Something even closer than the CAM picnic is two MGS Spring CITOs!  So come out, help out and earn that new Spring 2018 CITO souvenir!  One CITO will be held in Southern Maryland, at the Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary and one in Northern Maryland at the Elk Neck Arboretum.  So come out, earn your souvenir and help clean up the playing field.  See you there!

2016 Meet the Officers!

If you do not plan to eat still come and enjoy some friendly conversations and stories. We will have some exciting information and plans for a great MGS year! See everyone there!

2015 MGS CITO

Come join the Maryland Geocaching Society as we clean up the beaches of Accokeek Farm at Piscataway National Park for our CITO event. This is a great way to give back to the community. Piscataway National Park is located on the shores of the Potomac River and the way the currents run in the Potomac, trash runs up ashore on the beaches. We will be helping them get their beaches read for their Food For Thought Event held a couple weeks later. The CITO will run for 10AM-Noon with a picnic being held afterward. There will also be a couple new geocaches put out in conjunction with the CITO. If you have not already done so, please log your Will Attend at the cache page listing, GC5TTR4. There is more information on what you will need for the CITO at the following link: MGS Forum. I hope to see you there.
