Easy caching trails?

One of my friends is going through a tough time health-wise, but she wants to get outside and do more caching to stay active. Can anyone recommend paved walkways, paved bike baths, or easy trails with very little elevation changes, any of which have a good concentration of caches with little bush-whacking? Anywhere is MD is fine.

This is what I’ve come up with so far, please let me know if these don’t quite match what we’re looking for:

The GSH trail would be good. It's basically all sidewalks with absolutely no bushwhacking.

Some of the PoGB and RAKMD hides do involve bushwhacking, but others are right along trails. You'll need to pick and choose. In particular, the B&A trail woods can get quite dense during growing season.

There's a cluster of multi-caches in the Beltsville area that might work well. These are in a large office park, so would be good on a weekend. If I recall, a couple of the hides did involve some bushwhacking, but most were hidden in low-terrain areas. I had a lot of fun finding these last fall, and got several miles of walking in. A couple of caches in the series: GC6VFAM, GC6VFAR.

Try my ABA (Abingdon to Bel Air) trail. All sidewalk with 15 caches (plus a few near the trail, but not on it per se). It's about 3 miles and can be walked in an afternoon all on sidewalks. Here's the starting point: https://coord.info/GC7HEH6
Also, there's the WNW (Westminster to New Windsor) trail. 30+ caches that can be biked in a day over 6-7 miles. Here's the starting point: https://coord.info/GC72J5F

Jacksom51 has a cluster of caches near the Rockville/Gaithersburg area around Route 355 and I 270. Some may require a little bushwhacking, but a lot are right along sidewalks and trails. They can be tricky. Be sure to BYOP and tweezers. Some are near business areas, so parking can be a problem for some of them during the week.

I dont know if you go across the Bay Bridge to Kent Island but there are 2 paved trails; The Cross Island Trail & The Matapeake Trail. They are both paved, parking is close to all of the caches on both trails. You will be able to see 4 different eco systems. There are areas for the history buff, the nature creature & there are benches all along to take a break. Almost anywhere you stop will give you a great photo op & a variety of caches. Its a great place where you can spend all day & not be more than 5 mins from some place to eat, rest rooms & get on or off 50 yet not be bothered by them as you stroll the trails.
I lived out here for 15 yrs & started the caching on the island. I moved 3 yrs ago & adopted out most of my caches & since then there have been some new CO's to add to the fun. Its a good place to go for easy walking, skating, biking & still get smileys all over the place. Have fun. (Mother Wolf)
