As many of you may have heard, the Friday night's floods in Harford County had some devastating effects. Sadly, there is still a missing woman. There is still an active search ongoing, and people will gather around 9 AM tomorrow at Calvary Church on Rt 136 in Bel Air4, MD. The church has a geocache in its parking lot for a reference point as I cannot find an address. GC code is GC7T856 Just another church #5.
DSG53DoyleStreetGang (AKA Phil) attends church with the male driver of the pickup who stopped and tried to help the victim. Unfortunately, this young man did perish when his car was swept downstream into the quarry. With the pickup driver was his girlfriend, Elizabeth (Melissa). She was swept away and has yet to be found. This has been a very hard search and rescue on local staff. Some of the divers got the bends while diving in the quarry today and had to be airlifted to Shock Trauma. We pride ourselves on rooting and digging into areas most people just drive by. We explore areas few people ever see.
PLEASE, PLEASE come out tomorrow morning and be ready at 9 AM to help search. There is no smiley face involved here, but we do not want another DNF. You can see Kyles account of what happened on Fox News at 10 o'clock TONIGHT.
PLEASE Geocachers, come help, PLEASE
The address of the nearby quarry is 1219 Calvary Rd, Bel Air, MD 21015 so that will at least get you close by.
