In case anyone is interested, there is going to be a (likely fairly large) event near Mingo (Kansas) on 2 May 2020 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the flipping of the "big blue switch" when selective availability was turned off and our hobby was born. The event has not been published yet, but you can find out some information at the website here: https://mingo2020.com
On the very small chance that there is someone reading this who doesn't know what Mingo (GC30) is, it is the oldest active geocache hide in the world and was the 7th geocache ever hidden (the GC codes were not initially assigned in numerical order).
If you are are interested in more information than the website provides (which is admittedly little) you can listen/watch to Geocachetalk episode 152. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdcBVg-B2e0
