Two geocachers from your neighbor to the north (PA) and fellow MGS event attendees would like to share a Game Night / Summer Picnic event with all our MGS friends.

GC85H3Y (Game Night, Summer Picnic Edition) will be held on Saturday, August 17th, starting at 3 PM at Shawnee State Park, Pavilion 7. There are some geocaching opportunities in the state park (for those who have not already logged those existing caches) and around the Bedford area, so a day could be made of it. We are also inviting any cachers already in the state park after 12 Noon but before the official kick off time to stop in to Pavilion 7 for a chance to go get some scavenger hunt-style cache containers and maybe some early prizes.

During the game portion (5 PM onward), prizes will be awarded to winners of trivia, the "Wheel of Geocaching!", and "The Geo-Family Feud", the latter two run similar to the TV counterparts. We had great fun with the "Feud" game in February at an Altoona, PA, event, and it returns along with "Wheel" as a new game introduced into the series.

For more information, you may check out the event's page using the GC code listed above or just go to this link.

You may also see our "Landing Page" with links to the previous archived game night pages, the picnic food list, and "The Geo-Family Feud" team signup form at:

Many thanks to MGS President, littleblkdog, for allowing us to share this with our friends in the MGS.

We attended a mrGreen Game Night with Tammi (Allways Lost 00) and Gerry (ALs Guide) earlier this year. It was a total blast! We loved it and had such a good time we plan on attending this event as well. In fact we even plan on camping there as well. Danielle and I was on a team for The Family Feud and our team even won! Tammi lasted much longer than me at one of the other games I competed in but I will let her rub that in...
