TIME TO VOTE!!

I want to thank everyone who submitted nominations this year. If we do not receive nominations, we would not be able to award those cachers and caches each year. There were a couple of categories that did not receive enough nominations, so the Cache Hide of the Year and Scenic Hide of the Year for the South, East, and West regions have been combined into one category. The being said, we have some great cachers and caches on the ballot. Please send your vote to 2015core@mdgps.org by August 5th and be sure to put MGS VOTE in the subject and your gc.com/MGS name in the body. You can submit a vote in each category and region. Winners will be announced at the MGS Summer Picnic! The votes will be tabulated by the members of the MGS Core.

What is the exact spelling/formatting for DeepConcern and Tostes1 ? Those exact usernames don't exist on gc.com

Most of gr8caches hides are in WV... great hides/hiders but, like WVTim's nomination in a previous year, I'm wondering if they are eligible for the Western MD hider of the year?

Their names are "Deep Concern" no space and Tostes1 is now know as "SamNToast". I semi-agree about the Western MD voting as it should be in MD but they do have a few hides in Western MD.

I can't comment on how the nomination process worked in previous years, but as long as the person nominated had at least one hide publish in that region within the last year, they were considered eligible to be nominated for cache hider in that region.
