The return of the Kielbasa and Spicy Brown Mustard.

Cross Posted: Please sign up "Will Attend" for our Summer Picnic (https://coord.info/GC7NTVT). So of our vendors are watching this to determine whether to donate something for our Silent Auction. So far, we only have 13 "Will Attends", and I know more of you will be there than that.

Re: 2018 MGS Summer Picnic - Susquehanna State Park Food Lis
Don't forget. In addition to food, we need contributions to our silent auction: MGS is funded annually through cash donations, 50/50 Raffles, PathTag and Geocoin sales, and the Silent Auction which will be held at the Summer Picnic. The funds collected by the MGS pay for our website, picnic pavilions, commemorative coins, design and seed money for PathTags, and miscellaneous administrative costs to operate and sustain the MGS.
Each year we reach out to numerous vendors who graciously send us items for our silent auction.
However, the largest source of donations for our Silent Auction comes from our members . Donations from our members are often some of our most popular silent auction items.
What can be donated? We have had a wide variety of items donated in the past to include:
PathTags
GeoCoins
Shirts
Hats
Tools of the trade (tweezers, penlights, small adjustable mirrors, etc.)
Handheld GPS units
Gift Cards or Discount Codes (REI, Dicks, etc.)
Cache maintenance supplies
Geocache containers to include ones you designed yourselves
Answers to hard puzzles (Hey some of us would pay $$$$ for Hixon puzzle solutions)
Guided tour of difficult caches
Please note: Donations to MGS are not tax deductible. Unfortunately, the federal government does not designate social groups like the MGS as a tax-deductible non-profit.
If you would like to donate something to the Silent Auction, please contact me through the forums, email, Facebook, or at an event, so we can add your name to our list of donors and coordinate with you for the donation.
