Finish the last caches for several "almost there" challenges:

Jasmer - 1 to go - July 2000 - Atlanta, here I come...
Triple Fizzy - just one more cache
MD/DE Delorme - Crisfield
MD County (see Crisfield)
Middle Earth series - only the final left to find

My other main goal is to resume the monthly Cache Mob events - get groups out hiking together and CITO'ing along the way

There is no way to measure goals of one person versus another . Personally I could only manage one of three of my goals in 2019.

We are doing this for ourselves. When you do CAM, someone else sets the course and goals.

Thanks to the pandemic, my 60-day slump goal has been achieved. My last find was March 21, and I have zero find in April and May. This does mean that I wouldn't be participating in the drawing for 2020.

The prize for winning 2019 Goal Getting Gang (GGG) was 2 bison tube sized container per month, for 12 months. So far I have been hiding them under furnitures, and I get on my knees to look for them daily. Once buses are running on normal schedule again, I'll rehide them outdoors as "GGG" series.

Well the 2020 year has certainly changed a lot of things. My own problems beside the quarantine have altered my plans too. Now is the time to continue what we can and develop our personal plans accordingly. Wishing you FUN, and opportunities to help others.

After the first of the year we will have drawing amongst those who who registered. . It is the spirit of geocaching that counts. Somebody should already be dreaming up how to do it in 2021 following pandemic guidelines. One thought I was toying with was four geographical areas of the state. War regards.

Sounds fun!!! I'm maintaining one a day. Thankfully being considered essential allowed me to keep that up!

I had a couple of big rips planned for 2020 that got cancelled because of the restrictions/closings in those states.

Here's how I did vs my 2020 goals

1. only added the oldest in 1 state (PA) vs goal of 5
2. found 31 Virtuals vs goal of 20.
3. cached in 30 new counties vs goal of 20.

I'm happy that I accomplished 2 of 3 goals.

Almost forgot about this. While my goals were fairly modest, I did meet or exceed them all.

1. Spring & Fall CITO. Worked one each in Hagerstown at lpyankeefan CITO events. Also threw in a non-geocaching stream clean up in Elkridge because I wanted to do something in my own county, too!

2. Hide 2. Not so easy getting park permission because of limited staffing during Covid-19 times, but still managed to hide 4 and set up an Adventure Lab series.

3. CAM. Completed, attended picnic.

Guess now it's time to start thinking about those 2021 goals...

So we are nearing the end of the year. I do have the 2020 list of participants. Would be glad to participate in virtual drawing at January 2021 event. I am Covid19 bound and take anti-seizure medicines so don't drive. I am making good on the 2020 prize I promised. However, it is time for either a pooled donation towards a prize or another donor for 2021. Sincerely yours,
Phill

I think that is the right spirit of having a goals program for many years
