Re: "Wheel of Challenges" promotion
Hi Everyone -- We would love some input from the group if you have any to share.
We have a new puppy. He is almost done getting all of his shots. We have 2 main ones left to take care of, the most concerning being Lyme #2. This means we are not comfortable with him being on the trail yet. He won't be getting the second shot until the monthly challenge deadline is up and we'll be out of luck.
With this new Wheel of Challenges, if we wanted to try and achieve the "Hard" level, we are going to need to find either a dense urban area (we did a pocket of hides by Georick402 down I-270 for another challenge a while back) or a power trail along a roadside. We do not want to take the puppy on the WMRT, the C&O Canal or the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal (near Chesapeake City, MD), etc. because of ticks and he's little... it would not work because his stamina is not quite there.
If you have any suggestions for a quick way to knock this challenge out, we're all ears. We're basically looking for park and grabs on a route. We've just mostly emptied our local hunting grounds and are stuck. Many thanks, Suttymonks

Re: "Wheel of Challenges" promotion
I would consider adventure labs. Every stage counts for a and one geocache for this particular challenge. On I 70 a bunch of them were just released that you can get from either rest area near the Appalachian Trail. That should help quite a bit. I also think there are some in the Maryland rest areas and there are definitely some in the Delaware rest areas that could be of use as well.

Gr8Caches put a ton of letterboxes on guardrails in Washington Co. It could push your numbers up high in a few hours. Likewise there is a boatload of whereigos in Charles Co, you could grab 30-50 easily on way to Chuck Co CAM and St Marys Co CAM.
Congrats on the pup.

The rest area on I70 has 125 adventure lab stages. One could easily get 100 finds in under 30 minutes by simply parking at the rest area.

Additionally, the Delaware rest area on I-95 has 80 easy and quick lab adventures you can claim as well.
70 are from the rest area itself, the other 10 are from 2 adventures near the rest area that are actually reachable from the rest area.
