Hello!
I'm pretty green but obsessed with geocaching all because of Maryland. I've completed my first 3 hides (1 is being reviewed.
I've been on the hunt for spots where tb's are safer. I've analyzed various data. Behaviour and my current series of gc are to gather info on geocachers behaviour in relation to terrain, attributes listed ect.
So far I've noticed members of MDGPS have been the super heros to keep majority of caches alive and dropping new TB's.
I wanted to check out forest haven but have only seen videos. I feel there may be potential (may also be bate for a gc to get muggled)
I don't think this is a hike one should do alone. Being a Chicago transplant. I was hoping someone who is in the area would be willing to check these out with me and be my geo-mentor.
Hope to make it to coffee and future events. Thank you!

So I'm the one that actually maintains Forest Haven inside greenbelt Park and that one's actually a pretty good hide. TBs should be safe there . As for the other one, I'm not sure off top my head

Fantastic! I wet by car to check out how to get there. I am an americorps alumni so I went to Woodland Corps and attempted to go to the other Americorps wings across america.
What or how can I find a map of the easiest rout, and safest parking? Looking online I found only a bunch of haunted videos and young teenagers making the hike seem scarier than it should be.
I've got Anne Arundle GiS maps and have an eerie account as well as Locus.
Thank you for your reply and work maintaining!
