It is with pleasure that I introduce to you two young men who enjoy caching with their family (when they are not playing baseball.) I hope to see them on the trails one day. Meet the Osborns.


First Name: Robert Osborn and Christopher Osborn
School grade: 10th and 9th grade

1. What is your geo-name or do you share a geo-name with your family?
Our geo-caching name is ozzy1602 and it is a family name.

2. What is your favorite thing about geocaching?
Robert: My favorite thing about geocaching is the unique finds.
Christopher: My favorite thing is to be first to find.

3. Do you tell your friends about geocaching?
No, we have not told too many friends.

4. Have you ever taken your friends geocaching with you?
No

5. What types of caches do you like to find?
Robert: I like Gadget caches.
Christopher: I like Multi caches.

6. Of all the caches you have found, do you have a favorite?
Robert: Warmer, Warmer, You’re Red Hot GC3B4Z2
Christopher: PWN’D GC3HHJY

7. Have you hidden or helped hide a geocache?
Yes, we have hidden a few and we have even made a Geotrail at KinderFarm Park for a school project.

8. Do you like going for long hikes or adventurous types of caches?
We like adventurous types of caches.

9. What has been your most adventurous or fun cache find?
Robert: 2 Dogs GC39Q16
Christopher: The Great Depression GC255PB

10. What is your favorite type of swag to find in a cache?
Robert: Geocoins
Christopher: Money

11. What type of GPS do you use?
Garmin Oregon 550 and Magellan Explorist

12. If you could add a new feature or technology to geocaching, what would it be?
We can’t think of anything right now.

13. Do you like going to geocaching events?
Yes

We both liked Nano In The Woods and it was fun because it was Nanos in the woods.

15. What type of games do you like at geo-events?
We like the auctions.

16. Do you participate in other activities or sports?
Yes, we both play baseball for Old Mill High School.

17. Outside of school, what other types of hobbies do you enjoy?
We both like baseball and video games. Christopher likes to Munzee.

18. What suggestions do you have for cache hides, hiders, events, or event games?
Make it fun!!

We have found many new places while Geocaching.

OMG I feel so old looking at the pictures of them. They have gotten so big since then.

We have cached with the Ozzy's numerous times and the boys have a fire about them when they are on the trail. I think its about time to plan another road trip and they are old enough to drive, so maybe mom and dad can play video games in the backseat instead.

I know I have enjoyed some of the caches this family has put out! (not sure if the kids are the evil ones, or the parents!) :lol: Enjoyed reading about you guys!

It has always been fun to talk with you guys at an event or on the trail. I remember our trip to the Bling Trail well. It rained a bunch but we had a great time.

Wow you guys have gotten big. When we first met them they were just little guys. Its always great catching up with them and seeing them.
