2019 Geocaching Goals
Collecting 2019 Geocaching Goals
Posting here has been an adventure with timeouts destroying my efforts etc. My usual experience with puzzles. I am offering here opportunity for anyone in MDGPS to send me their 2019 Geocaching Goals and in December we will have a drawing from amongst the pool of participants for a prize. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN. The prize will be determined by how many choose to participate. I, the sponsor, will allocate $1 per participant to determine the prize.
Each participant will let me know Geocaching Name , telephone #, and goals.
Mine are
1. Achieve my 1000th accumulative cache finds.
2. Finish the entirety of the FYC Find Your Chesapeake Geotour. I have those on the James River, VA and
will get my adult daughters to take me to Trap Pond DE to get those.
I am attempting to upload a sample form.
Please email me at kindfellow1@gmail.com with you submissions.
Sincerely yours,
Phill the Portlywalker

Re: 2019 Geocaching Goals
Baring crazy weather, I plan to come to Meet the Officer's Event tomorrow and will have 2019 Goal cards with me. Besides providing a little personal focus in your geocaching life, our year end raffle will be for a prize scaled to the number of participants.
Warmest Regards,

Re: 2019 Geocaching Goals
Collecting 2019 Geocaching Goals submissions for entire month of January
Prize (s) awarded in raffle in December 2019 will be commensurate with $1 per participant. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN
Since my initial intent to include this at an Event I hosted earlier, I am thinking "why not all MDGPS members?" So you might enervate your 2019 and have nothing to lose sending in the form included in this string.
Warmest regards,
Phill

Re: 2019 Geocaching Goals
I think the goal I sent to Portlywalker was to find 100 caches in a day, so that I could finally log a find on a challenge cache I signed back in 2014. I accomplished that goal in May on the ever-popular C&D trail.
Haven't set any goals yet for 2020.

Re: 2019 Geocaching Goals
Goal for 2020 is to cache more than 2019!
I did just get 15 out of the 20 oldest caches in AA county. There’s a challenge for that.
