2023 CAM Fair Hill NRMA warning
For the Fair Hill NRMA CAM geocache (GCA332R), please do not drive to Stage 1. You MUST park at the assigned parking waypoint. If you have accessibility needs, please reach out to the Duty Ranger to make accommodations.

And because we can’t have nice things…
The Fair Hill NRMA CAM cache has been disabled per the request of the park ranger. Unfortunately, people are not following instructions, are driving straight to the geocache, and the geocache is in danger.
DO NOT attempt until it has been reactivated, and follow all of the instructions thereafter.

Worst case scenario - if this ends up having to be archived, will we just have 4 required caches, or will another (now) optional one be selected as the fifth requirement? Just trying to think ahead...

Doomsday thoughts are not needed thankfully. We have updated the cache description to include more forceful language and it has been reactivated. Hopefully, our fellow cachers will not treat this as a 'cache and dash', will read the instructions, and will obey local signage.

I’ll be honest, I was one of the guilty ones on day one, but realized my mistake immediately ( I programmed the cache location, not the parking lot into my GPS) but immediately turned around and parked in the lot provided. It’s also better if one starts with the bonus caches nearby and then walk to the first stage, as it directs you over the bridge and not across the (sometimes) busy road.
