GeoWoodstock III

TiKi-4 went to the GeoWoodstock III in Jacksonville, FL and were part of a historical event. There were over 500 cachers, 1800 travel bugs and people cached until they dropped. We finished over 100 caches on the trip and we weren’t able to stay for the cache runs on Sunday. All four of the “R?T” locationless were there (except our own DC one….go figure); 5 other traveling caches from CCCA were also there; as well as some other neat ideas for future events. They had geo-bingo; geo-poker; largetest & smallest TB’s; a pile of over 20 coins; and of course the new ’05 Jeeps. Nathan, from GC was there to discuss new features and of course i got a few minutes alone to talk about verts and LC’s. The event was in a large park and right on the beach. This meant that everyone could do a little bit of everything under the sun. The weather was great and there was food & drinks for everyone. A lot of hard work and effort went into this event and the final product was worth it. The extra events both the night before and the day after made this a fun filled weekend. We even got to meet some of the heavy hitters of cachers. In fact, was even ‘spooked’ by the #2 while out caching. If they hold one next year, everyone should make the effort to try and attend. It was a great time by all.
